World-renowned speaker Zig Ziglar tutored Dan for 25 years in the art of Motivational Teaching. In 1988, Dan was the houseguest of Muhammad Ali, where for five hours they watched his greatest fights and analyzed Why Champions Struggle To Stay On Top. In his interviews with Michael Jordan Dan learned about Thriving On Pressure when the game is on the line.

Dan has been schooled in Passion, Originality, and Showmanship by David Foster, Robert Plant, Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock, Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Johnny Lang and Alice Cooper, felt the exhilarating freedom through Creativity because of hit songwriter Monty Powell, and was taught the Power of Personal Branding – that You Are The Message, when he rode his Screaming Eagle Harley cross country with the Willie G. Davidson family.

Dan was taught Commitment To Excellence by Emmitt Smith and Cal Ripken Jr, and the Critical Nature Of Preparation by Wayne Gretzky and his father Walter during a weekend together at the family home in Brantford, Ontario. And at a critical time in his life, Dan learned that you need to know When To Speed Up and When To Slow Down So You Don’t Crash and Burn from racing champions Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson.
